Privacy policy
Personal information we collect
When you sign up to be notified when bookings open, we collect:
- Your first and last name and your email address
- Which best describes you (for example event planner, media or industry partner), and any detail you add if you choose “Other”
- If you choose to give them: your phone number, company or organization, and location
We also record when you signed up, how many times you have signed up, and, where available, the country your connection comes from (derived from your IP address). Your IP address is used briefly to protect the sign-up form against abuse: it is kept only in scrambled form, for about ten minutes, and is not stored with your sign-up.
How we use it
We use this information to:
- send you a confirmation email when you first sign up;
- contact you about Elevaire Chicago, in particular to let you know when bookings open, and respond to your enquiry;
- understand who is interested in the venue, so we can plan our communications.
Who we share it with
Your sign-up is seen by the Elevaire Chicago team. We use service providers to host the Site and to send email; they process your information only to provide those services to us. The analytics providers described in the Cookie policy below receive information about how the Site is used, not your sign-up details. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep your sign-up details for as long as we need them to tell you about Elevaire Chicago and respond to your enquiry. If you have not heard from us or contacted us for two years, we delete them. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to its use, by emailing webmaster@blendimc.com.
For how we use information collected by cookies and other tracking technologies, see the Cookie policy below. The Cookie policy is part of this Privacy Policy.
Cookie policy
What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Cookies let a site remember your choices and recognize your browser when you come back. Similar technologies, such as scripts and pixels, work in the same way and are covered by this policy too.
How we use cookies
We use cookies to remember your cookie choice, to measure how the Site and the sign-up form are used, to measure the results of our advertising, and to improve the Site and our marketing.
Where the law requires your consent — for visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland — analytics and advertising cookies and similar technologies are only used after you accept them in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page.
Tools we use
Necessary: your cookie choice
The elv_consent cookie remembers whether you accepted or rejected cookies, so we don’t ask again on every page. It is set by the Site, contains only “granted” or “denied”, and expires after six months. It is not used for tracking.
Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Tag Manager
Google Analytics, provided by Google, measures how many people visit the Site, how they arrived and how they use it, including whether the sign-up form is opened and completed. It never receives your name, email address or phone number. Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics and our other tools. Cookies: _ga and _ga_<ID>, which distinguish visitors and sessions and expire after two years. If you reach the Site from a Google ad, Google Ads uses cookies such as _gcl_au to measure whether your visit leads to a sign-up; these are only set when advertising cookies are allowed. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
Microsoft Clarity
Microsoft Clarity, provided by Microsoft, records how visitors interact with the Site, such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, so we can see heatmaps and replays of visits and improve the Site. Clarity is set up to hide anything you type into the sign-up form. Third parties such as Microsoft may collect personal data from visitors to the Site through Clarity, such as a unique identifier for your browser and information about your device. Microsoft collects and receives this personal data from us to provide Microsoft Advertising, and uses it independently as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Cookies: _clck and _clsk (set by the Site) and CLID, MUID, ANONCHK, MR and SM (set by Microsoft). Where consent is required, Clarity only runs after you accept cookies. If you reject cookies, Clarity does not set cookies and cannot connect your visits to each other.
Clicky
Clicky, provided by Roxr Software Ltd, gives us real-time statistics on visits to the Site. See Clicky’s privacy policy.
If we add or remove tools, we will update this list and the “Last updated” date above.
Control of cookies
Most browsers are set to accept cookies by default. However, you can remove or reject cookies in your browser’s settings. Please be aware that this could affect the availability and functionality of the Site. For more information, see your browser’s help pages:
- Apple Safari (Mac)
- Apple Safari (iPhone and iPad)
- Google Chrome (computer)
- Google Chrome (Android)
- Google Chrome (iPhone and iPad)
- Microsoft Edge
- Mozilla Firefox

Rejecting cookies in our banner stops Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and our other tools from setting cookies. Blocking cookies in your browser can also stop the Site from remembering your choice, in which case the banner may appear again.
Links to other websites
The Site may contain links to third-party websites not edited or controlled by Elevaire Chicago, such as 360 CHICAGO and Magnicity. Such links are provided for convenience only; they cannot and should not be interpreted as an express or implicit endorsement of these sites or of any product or service offered there.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
